Join Mike for a circular walk with fantastic views over East Cheshire.
Starting from Tegg’s Nose Country Park we take in the beautiful views of Macclesfield Forest and Shutlingsloe in the distance before heading to the remote and wild Lamaload Reservoir.
Then we head for the curiously shaped white monument atop Kerridge Hill, White Nancy where on a fine day; we can see Manchester and Liverpool in the distance. Finally we hike the Saddle of Kerridge overlooking Macclesfield before taking the Gritstone Trail back to Tegg’s Nose.
This walk is not dog friendly owing to many fields of livestock and the busy roads.
