Bryn Brethynau Scrambling Weekend

Spend a weekend scrambling with OutdoorLads in snowdonia. We're staying in a climbing hut in a beautifully secluded location with wonderful mountain views, yet only five minutes walk from the Tyn Y Coed Pub.
Scrambling is essentially "a walk up steep terrain involving the use of one's hands." It is a slightly ambiguous term that lies somewhere between hiking, hillwalking, mountaineering, and easy rock climbing. No specialist equipment is required, but that doesn't make it any less exhilirating!
We'll arrive on Friday evening and enjoy a shared buffet (please bring something along for the table) before heading out Saturday morning to start scrambling. On Saturday evening we can head to the local pub for dinner or cook ourselves in the hut before doing it all again on Sunday!
This is a joint event and you'll be sharing the accommodation with members on the Bryn Brethynau Barn - Climbing Weekend.
What to bring
This kit list for this event will be the same as for a standard hillwalking event (waterproofs, boots, warm underlayers, rucksack, food and drink). No other specialist equipment required.
Oh, bring sleeping bags and earplugs!
Food & drink
Please note that no meals are included in this weekend - you'll be expected to cater for yourself. The barn has a well-equipped kitchen with gas hobs, microwave, large fridge, oven, hot water and stainless steel worktops.
