What Is The Oxford Social?

This event will take place at different locations in and around Oxford, usually monthly. The socials allow members to mix in a location close to where they live, have fun and a great opportunity for those interested in joining to come along and ask questions in a familiar environment. You’ll have the opportunity to catch up with 'lads' you've met on previous events and meet up with OutdoorLads you've not yet met.

Why Go?

Social events provide a support network for local members. They are an ideal way for new members to meet existing members and informally find out more about the group and the group’s activities, and for existing members to catch up with each other and find out more about upcoming events.

Can I Bring A Mate?

Yes of course especially those who might be interested in what we do. We are meeting in a public venue and it would be great to introduce others to OutdoorLads. If you have OutdoorLads branded clothing this is a great time to show it off and create an impact to non-members.

Do I Need To Register?

Ideally yes so we can look out for you and sometimes advise the venue of numbers. But even if you forgot to register you are still welcome to come along. You won't get a 'black mark' for not showing up. Guest and trial members should note that they won't use up one of their free events by attending a social. They automatically won't count.
