BSC2017: The Edge of the Carneddau

A challenging day walk. A 20 minute drive from the campsite will be required.

This is a fantastic day walk which is ultimately rewarding after a steep climb up to the summit of Drum and the Foel Fras.  We will enjoy stunning views (weather depending of course) of the Anglesey coastline and the Snowdonia range.  Foel Fras is the first mountain in the Carneddau range, a gentle introduction one might say.  We then descent towards Penygadair – an old settlement nestled on a lump of hillside.  We skirt back through farmland before picking up the road back to the cars.
