My First Social

Socials are a great way to meet new friends in a relaxed environment and find out first hand more about OutdoorLads and our activities.

We hold socials in Bath, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Chester, Colchester, Glasgow, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Plymouth, Reading, Sheffield and Southampton, and more pop up all the time.

Social events are generally free for everybody, but sometimes we'll pass on charges for activities or venue entrance (i.e. bowling), and sometimes you'll pay on arrival at the venue.

Nervous about meeting new people?

We love welcoming new members to OutdoorLads. We’ve all been a new member once and we know it can be daunting. Depending on the size of the event, there's usually more than one new member.

If heading to a pub social and you're feeling nervous, perhaps aim to arrive for the start time so you can get a chance to chat to the social leader. They'll be delighted to talk to you about what OutdoorLads do, and help introduce you to other members.

Once registered on OutdoorLads.com you can see who else is signed up to attend events, and you'll be able see and contact the event leader should you have any questions or wish to introduce yourself ahead of the event.
