Join Lee, Dave and Rupert for a festive, leisurely afternoon walk and social in York!
After a short meander around Museum Gardens, if the weather permits, we will head up for a walk on a section of the city walls. Taking in the picturesque views of the city, we'll then head back down into the centre and walk the historic streets of York. There will be plenty of time to browse the Christmas markets, check out what's going in Parliament Square and Minster Gardens. Depending on the size of the group on the day, we may split into two or three groups to do the walk and meet back at the markets or pub.
We'll aim to find a pub for lunch mid to late afternoon. For those who want to stay on in the evening, there are plenty of pubs and bars to visit- around 90 within the city walls.......just stating this as trivia, not a target for the day:)
We will probably be heading to Museum Street Tavern (YO1 7DT) around 7.30, a telegram chat will be published closer to the event to keep everyone updated!
