Wasdale Camping (Lake District)

Returning to this site for a third year, we are delighted to be heading to this Iconic valley in the summer. Wast Water is England's deepest lake, and at its head are some of England's biggest mountains - Scafell Pike and Great Gable among them.
This is a trip for those wanting to get onto the high fells - there are so many to chose from - and we will be making the most of our location with some big walks on offer.
This lovely campsite has good facilities and we have our own field. There is a strict 'no noise' policy but the village has a pub so we will be able to socialise off the site.
VERY IMPORTANT: This price shown is for small tents only, which is one that is 3m or less in both directions. If your tent is larger than that, an additional £8 for the weekend is payable for tents up to 5m in any direction, or £16 for the weekend if your tent is up to 8m. Tents over 8m are not allowed. If your tent is more than 3m in either direction, please e-mail the office on finance@outdoorlads.com when you have booked, and they will invoice you for the remaining amount. This MUST be done in advance, the site is not accepting cash payments for this on the day. Better still - bring a small tent under 3m! :-)
Music - is not allowed on this event
Photos: All photos taken by the event leader and used with permission.
Dogs: Allowed at this campsite, for an additonal fee of £3 per dog for the weekend, to be paid to the site directly upon arrival. Usual rules apply.
Caravans, Motorhomes, Campervans: VW-style camper vans are allowed, but the field we are using is not suitable for larger motorhomes or caravans. A £16 supplement is payable on arrival for a VW-style camper van. Please contact the office as above to book a campervan place.
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
