Warrington Parkrun is a free and fun event.
The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Victoria Park, Knutsford Road, Warrington. The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths, trail paths and grass. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.
We will meet near the park run sign at the front of the park. There is also a briefing for those new to park run or Warrington.
To take part in a parkrun and get your official time, you will need to have registered with parkrun to receive your all important barcode. You can show this printed out or on your phone.
You run at your own pace, don't be scared that you may be slower than other people, you get to enjoy the view while they run past.
We will meet for a coffee in a local cafe afterwards.
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
What to bring
Your usual jogging outfit, it would be great to see as many ODL branded tops as possible.
Your ParkRun barcode.
A spare layer may be useful for when waiting around prior and after the event.
Food & drink
It is only a short run in the scheme of things. You can bring refreshments to leave in your vehicle.
