Join us for a thrilling OutdoorLads Hostel Weekend in the picturesque coastal town of Eastbourne, as we embrace the crisp and colourful season of Autumn.
Autumn is a magical time to explore the outdoors, and what better way to do it than with a group of like-minded OutdoorLads members! Our OutdoorLads Hostel Weekend in Eastbourne promises a perfect blend of breathtaking landscapes, and camaraderie that will create special memories.
Our focus on Saturday will be getting out on a good hike, exploring the local landscape and all it has to offer, and you'll get chance to soak up the crisp seaside air as we do so. We're close to the South Downs National Park and at this time, of year it's a delightful place to be! A walk along the magnificent cliff-top Beachy Head, the highest chalk-sea cliff in the UK is likely to be on offer, where views of the candy-striped Beachy Head Lighthouse are postcard-perfect. We'll decide the precise route nearer the time but expect ten to twelve miles,
After our walk or on the Sunday, you have chance to explore charming Eastbourne itself, with its Victorian architecture, lovely gardens, and lively pier. You could even take a ride on Dotto, the mini train that runs along the seafront!
We'll be staying in the town with all facilities nearby and just a mile from the seafront, in a modern hostel with comfortable living spaces. We'll cook and eat together on the Saturday evening before relaxing and socialise with fellow OutdoorLads, creating new friendships and rejuvenating existing ones! On Friday night we'll all bring and share items for the traditional OutdoorLads buffet, and breakfasts on both days are also included in the event price.
This event is great for those using public transport - Eastbourne train station is a little over a mile away, with connections to London and along the East Coastway line from places like Brighton, Hastings, and Ashford. There is also a handy bus stop less than 100 metres from the front door!
Come on, sign up and join in a fabulous weekend of fun with OutdoorLads in Eastbourne!
Dogs: Sorry this venue accepts registered assistance dogs only.
