Southampton has some of England's best-preserved medieval Town Walls right in amongst the modern city. Join us for stroll around Southampton old town following the old walls and viewing an array of ancient monuments, medieival churches and fine Georgian houses aloing the way.
This is a sightseeing walk so feel free to bring a camera and expect to stop frequently to read the information about the sights we'll see.
After a meandering tour of the Old Town, we'll stop off at the London Hotel, one of Southampton's pubs, for refreshments before heading back through some of the city's parks.
Food & drink
There are plenty of places to buy food on this walk so a packed lunch is not essential, but it is recommended that you at least have some water with you on the walk. We'll be stopping off at the London Hotel which serves food and drink. Also, the Christmas Market will be open selling an array of seasonal food and drink.
