Petworth to Langham Brewery - Summer Leisurely Walk and Tour
OutdoorLads visit one of their favourite Brewery -Langham’s in Mid Sussex, the home of the famous strutting cock beer tried and tested at summer camp and Halloween events in 2018.
The walk begins in the town of Petworth, a quaint market town in the heart of the South Downs National Park. We will immediately head into Petworth Park for a short distance before passing through the small village of Tillington, with its fascinating and unusual church tower. Before heading across to Lodsworth.
We have been involved with Langham’s for over 5 years now and several members have become good friends. We've had some fab fun and extremely memorable brewery tours together.
Lesley and Saulo will give us a guided tour of this award-winning brewery lasting about 90 minutes. There will be some tasting as we go around and some afterwards. Expect to try about six different ales. A finger buffet is included in the price to help soak up the alcohol!
They have an after sales facility so if you don't mind lugging it home you can purchase ale in carry out plastic bottles.
