Summer Camping and Beach in Devon

One of my personal favourite events. This is a great little campsite with sea views and a short walk to the beach. We can have barbys and campfires and can walk to a lovely village pub.
On Saturday we will be walking the coastal path to Sidmouth. En route we will stop on a secluded beach for a leisurely lunch and a dip in the sea. In Sidmouth we can have a wander and an ice cream or beer ;)
(Alternatively Stephen is organising a walk to Burgh island if you prefer, this is approx 1h 15min drive from the campsite further along the devon coast. Sign up here if you are interested https://www.outdoorlads.com/events/south-devon-burgh-island-180630 )
There will also be something organised for Sunday.
The campsite whilst basic has everything we need to have a great time.
We have the option to go to the pub and will also have a camp fire and maybe a little dancing later.

Food & drink
On Friday eve we are going to have a communal barby this means bring your own barby if you have one and your own food. We will all set up in the same location to cook together. If you don’t have a BBQ hopefully someone else will have space on theirs so we can make full use of all the charcoal.
(Top tip - steak or salmon is great for a barby as it cooks quick and is reasonably safe)
On Saturday eve Des (the naked chef) has kindly offered to cook one of his famous paellas for all that want it (and for a small donation towards ingredient costs) Please note this is meat based so if that is not for you please make your own arrangements.
There is a pub in the village and a café on the beach where you can get sandwiches etc.
You will need to bring food and drink for the walk on saturday , items can be purchased in the beach cafe en route.
