Strathspey Walk (with steam train ride!)

Please only sign up for this event if you are attending the Cairngorms Multi Activity 4 day event/Cairngorms 2022 camping event (5th-9th May)

Join us for a memorable, scenic trip on the famous Strathspey Steam Train enjoying the magnificent views of the Cairngorm National Park.  The train will leave Aviemore to Broomhill via Boat of Garten where we will disembark and commence our 11 mile walk along the Speyside Way.  
 

The Speyside Way is one of Scotland’s Great Trails and one of four official long distance routes in Scotland.  The route features fine scenery along a very well marked path along the River Spey.  We’ll pass through Nethy Bridge, Boat of Garten en route back to Aviemore Station to collect our cars.  
 

Journey time on the steam train approx 50 mins. The train departs Aviemore station at 12:45. 
The event price is the cost of the train ticket.
