We start by walking round the edge of part of the golf course before taking in the view at Drakestone Point. We then drop down to the valley and wander round to North Nibley and climb back up to the Tyndale monument to take in the view and where we will stop for lunch if the weather is good.

The afternoon should take us through Westridge Wood and then after a stretch along the road we come to the New Inn in Waterley Bottom where we might stop before climbing up Breakheart Hill and through more woodlands back to Stinchcombe Hill.

The walk is suitable for dogs with very few styles but they will need to be kept under control around the golf course and on the stretches of road.
