Join Rich on this circular walk along the River Mersey in South Manchester. A nice flat route provides easy walking through urban greenbelt and nature reserves. The walk is 15.5km, (or about 9.5miles) and suitable for all abilities.
Darren from the Time to Change campaign will be joining us for this walk.
Time to Change is a growing movement of people changing how we all think and act about mental health problems. The theme of the walk will be “ask twice”. “Sometimes we say we’re fine when we’re not, so if your mate’s acting differently, ask twice”. After the walk Darren will be holding an informal conversation (There will be free teas and coffees!) on how you can get involved. For more information and to join the movement: https://www.time-to-change.org.uk/
