POSTPONED - Saturday Gower Climbing-attached to Port Eynon..
4 people attending
4 places left
As part of the Port Eynon Hostel in the Gower we are planning a day outdoor sport climbing . As such, anyone on the hostel is welcome to come and join us, but please bear in mind that we'll have to be fairly careful with numbers and people's experience levels, so please bear with us while we're organising the event and trying to accommodate as many people as we can on this event.
Participation statement:
As a BMC Affiliate member, Outdoorlads draws your attention to the fact that climbing is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death. You should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for your own actions and involvement. Please note that every person participating should be aware of (and accept) that those members perceived as ‘in charge’ or leading the event are not necessarily qualified, do not need to be qualified, and are not regarded by OutdoorLads, or themselves as ‘technical experts’ but are amateur climbers with some experience and who are happy to impart their knowledge. Any advice given should be considered with this in mind by the recipient.
What to bring
Any climbing equipment you have will help with the day. We will be able to provide some equipment (harnesses, helmets, ropes, quickdraws), but supplies are limited.
Food & drink
Remember to bring a packed lunch including water for the day. There are nearby pubs which me may just have to pop in to at the end of the day.
