Jan25: Reading Pub Social (in tandem with bouldering)

If you are looking for both or either on a relaxing Saturday, this Reading Social (in tandem with bouldering) is perfect for you. We've chosen the Griffin, a popular pub restaurant in historic Caversham on the outskirts of Reading, for our jolly and friendly gathering post a bouldering session nearby (link to event page; signed up separately). Of course, you can choose both or either events, as our boundering sessions are always sociable as well :)

These ODL socials are a good opportunity to compare notes about the wonderful local activities run by the group, such as indoor bouldering, hikes, socials, supporting local Pride events and hostelling. This event is also particularly ideal for new members who want to find out more about the group and events being arranged in the locality. 

Built in 1916 on the north bank of the River Thames close to Caversham Bridge, the Griffin is a comforting country pub offering pub classics and seasonal chef’s specials rooted in traditional British cuisine with a modern flair.

Is it dog friendly? 

Dogs are allowed at the bar area of this pub, however you may want to leave your dog at home for this event as we will sit at a table and it's likely to be busy on a Saturday night.
