From Putney to Tel Aviv – Pre Eurovision Afternoon walk

4 places left
Never been on an ODL event before? or fancy catching up with some old mates. Then why not join Richard on his 8 mile easy Thames River (south bank) linear walk from Putney Bridge via Battersea and up to Kennington where we'll join the ODL en masse for the Outdoorlads Eurovision evening social at the Duchy in Kennington.
The walk will be at a nice pace and will take around 4 hours, and we'll aim to get to the ODL Social for 6pm. There may also be time for a quick pint en route too. :)
If you are planning to stay for the social – then you'll need to sign up to that event too here
On the Evening – ODL Eurovision Social
This could be the best ever social for you! We've teamed up with The Duchy in Kennington, one of our regular post-bouldering venues. The song contest will be shown live in the Pubs large back room. We'll have a few fun Eurovision competitions and games.
Not a great fan of Eurovision? We've thought of that as well, as we have the place to ourselves we'll have use of the venue's back garden meaning that you can chat to other OutdoorLads without the show going on around you. Great opportunity to come and meet some fellow OutdoorLads before BIG Spring Camp the following weekend!
As always there'll be a chance to meet up with new and regular members and find out what events are coming up in the South East region.
If you are planning to stay for the social – then you'll need to sign up to that event too here

What to bring
As it's a riverside walk I think it's safe to leave the emergency bivy shelter and sleeping bag at home, but I would recommend some sturdy walking shoes. Also, a coat and clothes that are seasonal to the weather.
Food & drink
Make sure you have plenty of water & fluids.
It is better that you nibble on something or grab lunch beforehand, also, bring a couple of snacks or fruit should you get hungry on the walk. If you wanna be a superstar and bake a cake to share, well... you'll make some friends for life! :)
