This event is suitable for beginners
This event is aimed at all climbers, beginner and experienced climbers are welcome. You do not require indoor climbing experience to climb outdoors. The number of spaces available for beginners will be determined by the number of experienced climbers that sign up.

Equipment
No personal safety equipment will be provided.
At a minimum you should have personal safety equipment for climbing:
- Harness and shoes
- Helmet (this is mandatory and you will not be allowed to participate without one)
- Belay device and locking carabiner.
Location
We will meet at the car park (see below) and choose an area of the crag depending on the ambitions of the group.

You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.

Nice to have- Belay device and locking carabiner
- Nut key
- Prusik loop (for abseil backup etc.)
Please message the event leader when you sign up to say what additional equipment you will be bringing (racks, ropes etc.)
Food & drink
Bring sufficient food and drink to keep you going.
