A beautiful 8 mile romp starting along the South bank of the Tyne at Corbridge, sweeping past the Dilston Physic garden and along ancient footpaths to ascend the tranquil gorgeousness that is Cock Wood. We'll be heading down from Swallowship Hill to a secluded river beach for lunch before completing our tour of the wood and looping round to join the river again.

Suitable for dogs and humans! There are slight gradients moving from the river to Cock Wood but nothing too outrageous. Tea and cake would only seem polite on our return to Corbridge
