Join us for a sociable evening at this popular pub in picturesque Betws-y-Coed.

Our social events are a great way to find out about the group and meet some of the members and event leaders, or to catch up with lads you've met on other events. If you have never been on one of our events before you would be very welcome to come along for a chat - we're a very welcoming bunch!

The Stable Bar is part of the Royal Oak Hotel complex and is a popular and lively venue, even during the winter months. The bar has a large, heated outside terrace, which is perfect for a large group. As well as reasonably priced drinks, they serve good value, hearty pub food well into the evening. It's all very casual, so it'll be easy for people to eat during the event if they want to.

Over the same weekend there will also be some events taking place nearby depending on availability of leaders.  Current arranged activities are;

• Saturday - mountain biking - Penmachno trial
• Saturday - road cycle - Penmachno to Bala loop
• Saturday - walk - Betws-y-Coed to Llanrwst and back
• Sunday - mountain biking - Marin trail
• Sunday - road cycle - Llanrwst to Abergele loop

For those planning on staying the night I already know a couple have booked into the Waterloo Hotel.  If on a budget a few will be staying at Cwmlanerch Campsite just outside of town.
