Night Walk - Hilbre Island - Wirral (nr Liverpool)

A real adventure walking out to Hilbre Islands just after sunset when the tide is out. In total there are three small rocky islands Little Eye, Little Hilbre Island and Hilbre Island which we'll visit.
You'll need a torch but please only use this when we get to the rocky bits so not to mess everyone else's night sight up. You'll need boots, underfoot will be damp as we are walking across the beach which the tide has not long gone out from. Also bring a little snack for a break on one of the islands.
If the weather isn't going to be great I may cancel this on the Wednesday, it would be magical if it wasn't raining and we had some clear sky!
West of the Wirral Peninsula (close to the town of West Kirby) you will find three small islands: Little Eye, Little Hilbre Island and Hilbre Island. These three islands are cut off by the sea twice a day, for up to six hours, but a walk to them across the sands at low tide is a superb outing. This walk feels like a real adventure.

What to bring
