Market Weighton-Londesborough Park, East Yorkshire

3 places left
This is an easy, fairly flat 10km circular walk on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. Starting in the market town of Market Weighton, we will head through the picturesque East Yorkshire countryside to Londesborough park before carrying on to the village of Goodmanham. Here, if the group feels like it on the day, we can have a stop at The Goodmanham Arms or The Fiddle Drill cafe before returning to Market Weighton.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on this walk.
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement

What to bring
- Walking Boots - if it's been raining recently, there are significant parts of the walk that will get very muddy (see the photos...they were taken in Novemeber) so trainers, etc. would not be suitable!
- Socks
- Gaiters (optional)
- Walking Trousers (not jeans)
- Base Layer
- Fleece
- Waterproof Trousers
- Waterproof Jacket
- Hat
- Gloves
- Day sack
- Food & Water
Food & drink
Please bring food/snacks (including a packed lunch) and at least 2 litres of water (particulary if it's a hot day). There are local shops in Market Weighton to buy any last-minute items (e.g. Morrisons Daily, Cooplands bakers).
If the group fancy, we can stop at either the cafe or the pub in Goodmanham village for a drink.
