Join Outdoorlads leader, Michael, for a new book club group in Manchester.
This month's book will be "Boys who like Boys: How we date, love, and find fulfillment in the age of the internet". Please come to the event having already read the book and be open to discussing the book with the group. It will provide an opportunity for you to reflect on your personal experiences of the themes of the book and share these with the group.
Photos of the book are on this event page (so that you can see what it looks like) and is available to buy online and in book stores. ISBN is 9781739367909 and the author is Max Thomas.
We have reserved an area from 10.30am until 12pm, so please arrive before 10.30am so that you can buy a drink or food (if you like) and be ready to start at 10.30am.
The venue has hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks available to purchase but they ask attendees not to bring their own food and drink.
There will be a chance to socialise afterwards and we can either go for a coffee or food somewhere (if people want to stay around).
As this will be the first book club social, I would be keen to receive feedback after the event (to decide whether to make this a regular event and the best format of running the in person discussions).
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
Your First OutdoorLads Event?
We know that new members in particular like to know in advance more about what an OutdoorLads event will be like.
If this is your first OutdoorLads event, you should check out the information designed specifically for you on the My First Event page on the OutdoorLads website.
