Classic Derbyshire Walk - 9 Miles and will take approximately 4-5 hours.  Starting at Castleton with good transport links, not overly challenging but does gain a little height.

March is still very cold and possible snow / ice so make sure you have the appropriate kit and warm clothes.  A windproof / waterproof will be key.

Midweek Day Walk - Probably the most popular walk in the Peak District.  Starting at Castleton and taking the route up Mam Tor.  The walk continues along the super and appropriately named Great Ridge which overlooks the Hope valley.  Passing other sites like Hollin's Cross, Back Tor and Peveril's Castie.

We pass other sites like Hollin's Cross, Back Tor and Peveril's Castie.

Midweek day walks are part of a series on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
