At the very back in the covered bit look for the red outdoorlads flag and a purple Santa hat , next to the toilets.
Weather update - the gusts have calmed but it remains cold this afternoon in the city centre of Leeds. The bar and Christmas markets are fully open. The bar is open, operating normally, very busy and reasonably sheltered from the wind.
The Leeds festive German Markets are back and are bigger than ever.
From sizzling German sausage to hot chocolate, the markets mix food and Christmas treats from afar. Join us at City Square, outside the train station, which has a range of food stalls, gift stalls and an outside bar called The Ranch Bar (see photos). Later in the evening we will move to the Leeds gay scene.
Also on City Square a 8 minute animated film is being projected onto the Queens Hotel with a screen play by local writer Lisa Holdsworth. This BBC radio report has more details of the film.
This informal social event is great for existing members to catch-up and for new members who want to find out more about OutdoorLads.
NEW - there is an outdoor ice skating event before this social event , sign up here
