Jervaulx Abbey Day Walk

A steady circular walk starting at Jervaulx Abbey in North Yorkshire, taking us through Jervaulx Park, the grounds of the Abbey, where we will then follow the River Ure past Squirrel Bank and down to Low Ellington (a small village in lower Wensleydale); through beautiful countryside past the Coultermire Plantation to Ramshaw, and then returning to Jervaulx Abbey
This beautiful scenic route offers various terrain of paths, tracks and fields, which will be muddy and possibly waterlogged in parts. so please ensure your footwear is adequate for these conditions.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on this event. However, please ensure you keep your dog on a lead and under control when in the areas where livestock are present.
