Fancy taking a day off during the week? 

Then join Stephen on a 9.5 mile walk on a Thursday in and around the coastal village of Hest Bank in North Lancashire . 

Highlights of the walk will be -

  • Picking up the Lancaster Canal to head south with views across to the Lake District
  • Wandering through the Morecambe suburb of Bare
  • With an amble through Happy Mount Park
  • Picking up the coastal path along Morecambe prom then along the beach to Hest Bank (The tide will be out)
  • We'll pick up the coastal path with views across The Bay. 
  • Eventually back onto the Lancaster Canal  for a while with a meander around Mount Pleasant , a little hamlet on the hill.
  •  We'll then drop back onto the Canal for the final stretch.
  •  Afterwards, fancy  sitting out the rush hour and have some food at a local pub?
  •  If so join Stephen as he will be booking a table at The Cross Keys a 5 min drive away
