This walk begins in Henley-on-Thames, one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames and famous for it's annual regatta. We will walk along the Thames and cross at Hambleden Lock and then head towards the picturesque and unspolit village of Hambleden. From here the route climbs up through Ridge Wood and the Great Wood before descending down to the river again back to Henley.
There will be an opportunity to grab a drink along the way and for those not dashing off at the end of the walk there are some lovely pubs in Henley-on-Thames.
Food & drink
Please bring a packed lunch which we'll eat at a suitable point en-route. There will be the opportunity to grab a drink at a pub around the mid-point of the walk.
