Distance is 13 km (8 miles); total climb is 195 m (639 feet); terrain has some inclines, but includes long flat stretches; surfaces are gravel, grass and tarmac.

On this charming urban walk you will see expansive parkland, peaceful canal paths and grand mansions and perhaps some roaming deer.  In fact you will mostly forget how close to the city of Nottingham you actually are.

The route will take us through walled gardens, we’ll see the Hemlock Stone which is steeped in myth and legend, and then we'll continue along routes including the Nottingham Canal and the Robin Hood Way taking in much of Wollaton Park along the way.

Unfortunately, this is not a dog-friendly walk.
