We’ll set off from Frodsham station car park (Chester bound side), following the Sandstone Trail before climbing towards Frodsham Hill. Weather permitting we should have some lovely views across the Mersey Estuary. We’ll continue along the Sandstone Trail until we reach Delamere Forest in time for lunch. We’ll skirt the forest before following a circular route back to Frodsham via the Fort & Beacon Hill. Frodsham, a pretty town listed in the Doomsday Book. Frodsham Railway Station is in the centre of town, on Church Street.

At least two litres of water are recommended for this walk.
We will be stopping en route so a pack lunch is needed. Time permitting we’ll have a pint on route and/or at the end of the walk.
