Falls of Clyde Walk
15 people attending
5 places left
A 11km walk comprising long flat sections, with occasional steep climbs, entirely on footpath with defined steps where necessary. This walk is ideal for those who enjoy opportunities to photograph stunning views of several waterfalls along the Clyde.
We will begin our walk to the first waterfall, before climbing a stepped slope through woodland. This is clearly defined. From there, there are very gentle slopes as we follow the river for around 5km, before crossing a bridge to the other side and heading towards Lanark. The return journey is via a defined woodland path, with occasional viewpoints of the river and various falls.
