Cycle & Chill: The Sunday Afternoon Edition
6 people attending
2 places left
Ease into your Sunday with a relaxed afternoon cycle through some of South Manchester’s leafiest neighbourhoods and parkland trails.
Starting from the city centre, we’ll wind our way through Old Trafford and Chorlton to reach the riverside paths near the Mersey.
We’ll take a break at a scenic spot by the river to rest, chat, and refuel. There’s a pub here and a café nearby if you fancy a drink or snack - or we can just take in the surroundings before we gently make our way back to the city.
- Distance: 11 miles
- Pace: Casual (8–10 mph)
- Terrain: Mostly flat with a mix of city roads (mostly with segregated cycle space), quiet lanes and park paths
This ride is ideal for all abilities, especially if you're looking for a sociable, no-pressure spin with time to enjoy the journey.
Helmets required as per OutdoorLads policy.
Optional post-ride Sunday lunch – feel free to join if you’re staying in town! We haven't booked anywhere in advance, so we'll just play it by ear on the day.
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete the Cycling Participation Statement in addition to booking your event space before attending a cycling event.
