This walk starts with an ascent of Pen y Fan, Bannau Brycheiniog's (the Brecon Beacons') highest point. On the way we go over Corn Du. After Pen y Fan we steeply descend and then steeply ascend Cribyn. Then we head over to Bwlch ar y Fan to take in the view of the valleys from the 'diving board' rock. Following the roman road to Lower Neuadd Reservoir before another steep ascent. This walk can be challenging and conditions during winter can change quickly. Please have boots, warm clothing and waterproofs. Even though challenging, this walk is highly rewarding with stunning views and a real sense of achievement.
