City centre to Salford walk and lunch

Join Michael for a Sunday morning stroll along the canal followed by lunch. The walk will begin in the City Centre and go along the canal until we arrive at Salford Quays. We will stop for a short break before returning along the same route back to Manchester.

When we arrive back in the City Centre, I have booked a table at 12.45pm for food at Society. We have booked a table for 20 people, assuming that everyone on the walk does stay for lunch afterwards (but you don't have to). Society is a street food venue and there are multiple options for food. If you do no not want to stay for food after the walk, please let me know in advance if possible so that I can amend the booking. The walk is relatively flat but there are some bridges to go up and over as we get in and out of Castlefield. The canal tow path is usually quite clear but, depending on whether conditions, could be wet and slightly muddy in places. The walk is around 6 miles.
