Cinderford Pride

Why not enjoy a day in the Forest of Dean celebrating pride at the same time. The plan for the day starts with am easy short walk in the Forest taking us past the remains of the some of the mining works before a gentle climb up crab tree hill where we may meet wild ponies or long horn cattle.
We'll then follow the route of one of the old railway lines back to Cinderford before climbing up to the Triangle where Cinderford Pride is being held.
There are a number of places to grab some lunch in Cinderford if you don't want to bring a packed lunch and our cars are parked about a mile away along an easy route to head back when ever you are ready.
Dogs will be welcome on the walk but will need to be kept under control however as we are intending to spend a few hours at Cinderford Pride this may not be the most appropriate event to bring along your four legged friend.

This is a short walk and most of it is on hardcore or pavements. There are some lengths along forest paths that could be muddy if it has rained. Provided that you don't mind your trainers getting dirty they are welcome on this walk.
A waterproof jacket is probably a good idea if rain is forecast and don't forget your wallet and red OutdoorLads T-Shirt if you have one
Food & drink
Your welcome to bring a packed lunch but there are several cafe's and pubs you could chose from, or there will be stands as part of Cinderford Pride
