We'l be visiting a large, well equipped site that sits just under the Ridgeway escarpment with views across the Aylesbury plain. Although surrounded by the beautiful Chiltern's countryside - with many walks from the site - it is only 40 minutes on the train from Euston, and a five minute taxi from Tring station, so is ideal for those who work in London and need to use public transport.
We will enjoy walks along the Ridgeway with great views and into the huge Ashridge woods - giving a really diverse day out.
If you really want to take it easy the site invites local street food suppliers on weekend evenings. It could be a wood fired pizza or similar, but they are all excellent. The exact provider will be confirmed nearer the time.
Dogs - well behaved dogs are aloud on site but need to be booked in with the OutdoorLads office in advance. The cost bringing a dog is £2 per night. Please pay in advance.
Motorhomes / Campervans / Caravans - Hook-ups may be available but you will need to call the OutdoorLads office who will check availability with the site. Hook ups are located away from the area we will be camping in, and will be at additional cost.
