Chester Pride 2024

Chester Pride is back with the city's most colourful celebration on Saturday, August 17 and we'd love for you to join us in the parade for what promises to be a great event.  It sounds like there will be some great entertainment afterwards including Louise, The Cheeky Girls, Alex Party and Baga Chipz.

- On the day, the parade will marshall on the Lower Car Park (University), CH1 2DN right next door to Castle Square - please meet there at 1130am in your red ODL t-shirt.  The nearest car park is the Little Roodee Car Park, a short 2 minute walk from the event site. Numerous public transport options are also available locally.

- Upon arrival, please locate the stewarding team (in yellow hi-viz) who will be able to direct you to the marshalling area. There is a small speed bump at the entrance to the Lower Car Park but this can be avoided by transferring to the pavement at the side of the track down to the car park.  Please speak with the event management team in blue hi-viz for clarification on any accessibility requirements as they have made every effort to ensure it is a truly inclusive event for all.

- The parade will leave the site at 12pm sharp, taking in some of the most iconic landmarks in the city before returning to the site no later than 1pm when the main event will start. We will disband the parade on Castle Street, but please note if you want to enter the main Castle Square site, this is ticketed event.  It is strongly recommended to secure tickets in advance via the Chester Pride website and ticketing partner TicketQuarter to ensure swift entry to the site after the parade. There will also be a ticket office for those that wish to purchase tickets on the day. General admission tickets cost £10 + booking fee in advance and on the day.

- Please come prepared for the weather on the day.
