Camping in Furness - A South Lakes Weekend
26 people attending
4 places left
A peaceful and easy to get to campsite with so much to do from hill walks to beaches and mountains if that is what you want to do. So much to enjoy.
Mouzell House is perched above Dalton in Furness with fields and woodland surrounding the site and a short walk away you have views of the Furness Peninsula and the coastline beyond. Back inland, views are available of Kirkby Moor and beyond.
The facilities on site are great, with a modern toilet and shower block plus the benefit of a fridge and freezer to help keep food and drink cold!
With a great pub nearby plus the South Lakeland Zoo too - you might hear the lions, the tigers and the bears OH MY!!! Actually, not sure if there are lions and tigers or bears but it sounded good!
Dogs:
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times on the site. Please let the event leader know if you will be bringing a dog.
Campervans, Caravans and Motorhomes: Due to space restrictions we cannot take caravans or motor homes. If you are coming in a canpervan please let the event leader know as we may be able to allow these, depending on numbers.
