Join us for an ascent of a gently rounded Corbett in the Southern Uplands of Scotland.

At 797m, Cairnsmore of Carsphairn is one of only seven Corbetts in the south of Scotland and is easily climbed via tracks and grassy slopes. If the weather is clear we will be rewarded with some fine views of the Galloway Hills and Forest Park.

It is planned to follow the route described on WalkHighlands.

Dogs: The walk is suitable for dogs, which must be kept under control at all times, particularly near livestock.
