Windsurfing lessons at Littlehampton beach are scheduled around low tide to take advantage of the optimal conditions. With a flat, knee to waist-deep water that stretches up to 150 metres, this location is perfect for both novice and experienced riders to hone their skills.
The session will begin with a comprehensive introduction to windsurfing, including the windsurf board and sail. As you progress, you will move on to mastering steering and different types of turns on the water. By the end of the session, you will be gaining the confidence and ability to sail across the wind and make turns with ease.
Make sure to check the kit list in the 'What to Bring' section! We recommend bringing footwear for going in the sea as we get a few stones in the shallows, either wetsuit shoes or an old pair of trainers.
This is a session for six people sharing 3 boards, so you'll have some recovery time in between.
What if there is no wind on the day?
If there's no wind on the day, this session will become a 2-hour SUP session, led by an appropriate instructor. It will be tailored to the abilities of the group on the day.
