This event is intended for attendees of BIG Summer Camp 2024.
Enjoy a day exploring the Isle of Wight on an open top bus - weather permitting of course!! Join us as we venture to the Isle on Sunday to visit The Needles, Alum Bay, Yarmouth and more.
The day will start with a short walk to Angmering Station, to catch the 08.45 train (leaving camp by 08.15) to Portsmouth Harbour, jumping onto the 10.15 ferry to Ryde, arriving in 22 minutes.
Once we arrive in Ryde, the entire day is completely at your leisure! You can hop on any bus and head to one of the many beaches, venture down toward Sandown and visit the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (£17), Dinosaur Isle (£8) or the village pubs, ride the island's Steam Railway (£22 for unlimited travel for the day), trek to Cowes and see the Military & Heritage Museum (£15), or venture further afield, clear down to The Needles and Alun Bay!
