BSumC22: RFC to Worthing Pier (and back) leisurely walk
14 people attending
16 places left
This event is intended for attendees at Big Summer Camp 2022.
A leisurely paced walk of 11 miles (with a train opt out half way for the super-leisurely). We'll start at the Worthing Rugby Club, home of Big Summer Camp 22, and head down to the coast where we'll be walking along the seafront to Worthing Pier and back again.
Once at the pier we'll stop for an hour so you can grab some lunch, write a postcard to your dog, enjoy an ice cream with sprinkles or even take off those walking boots and have a paddle.
After our stop at the pier, you are welcome to go to Worthing Station and get the train back to Agmering if you wish (you'll need to supervise yourself at this point) or you can join your fellow walkers as we head back the way we came, sight-seeing all the things that were behind us on the way there, as we burn off those chips, slush puppies and candy floss.
This is intended as a purely social leisurely event and walk, so if you're looking for something more 'yomping' rather than 'yapping' there are lots of other events to pick from as you enjoy Summer Camp 2022.
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
