BSC24: Challenge the Gorge: Hike, Scramble, Explore in Geirionydd (Sun AM)

This event has been retitled from 'Mixed Adventure' to be more descriptive. We're taking you on a journey back in time to the 1900s, where Geirionydd was home to a lead mining industry. You'll see glimpses of the old ruined ore mill whilst being surrounded by this steep-sided gorge.

This is an all-round adventure sessions encompassing a whole host of fun for all!

You'll start by following the old tramway down the side of Llyn Geirionydd. You'll then continue down heading to the base of the gorge where you'll take on our Tyrolean Challenge. If that's not enough, you'll then be guided up through the gorge, scrambling over rocks and boulders, and sliding into pools.

And if that's still not enough, we'll take you into two abandoned mine tunnels to get a glimpse as to what it would have been like working underground in the 1900s.
