BSC24: Conwy parkrun (Sat)
17 people attending
8 places left
This is one of the events organised as part of Big Spring Camp 2024.
Conwy parkrun is the closest parkrun to where we will be staying.
The 5km run is at the RSPB Nature Reserve, Conwy. The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths and gravel paths. The parkrun follows a simple out-and-back route along the banks of the river Conwy, with a short diversion towards Conwy castle on the outward section of the run. It is mostly flat, only climbing when it crosses the railway line over a pedestrian bridge.
To take part in a parkrun and get your official time, you will need to have registered with parkrun to receive your all important barcode. You can show this printed out or on your phone.
You run at your own pace, don't be scared that you may be slower than other people, you get to enjoy the view while they run past.
It is an early start (8:00 meet for 8:15 departure to drive the 22mins to RSPB Nature Reserve, Llandudno Junction, Conwy, LL31 9XZ. (Grid ref: SH797773), so please be prompt - we will not be able to wait for latecomers.
If coming along on the parkrun, you will be hard-pushed to get back and ready for any event leaving at 10.00am or earlier.
