BSC2019: Day at the seaside (Saturday 11:15)

Fish & Chips, Ice cream and a walk along the prom, all the the ingredients for a great day out at the British seaside resort of Llandudno.

Once we arrive at Llandudno Station car park we will be making our way to the tramway. Depending on the queues, we hope to get the tram to the top of the Great Orme where there are great views across to Snowdonia and beyond. Refreshments will be available at the cafe.

Once back down we will have a mooch along the pier where their will be the opportunity for a quick play on the 2p slot machines whilst remembering just how awful arcades are.

We then plan stop for Fish & Chips (other take aways are available) which we can eat on the prom or the beach.

To walk off our lunch we will be heading for a walk along the promenade, stopping for an ice cream along the way.

If the weather is not fantastic, the Great Orme tram is covered and there is a visitor's centre at the top. We can sit inside for lunch and after a walk, go for tea and cake (in a manly way!) in a cafe.

This event is is suitable for members staying nearby with dogs.

Please note, we hope to car share from the camp to Llandudno so volunteers to drive would be appreciated.
