Booking opens Sunday 24th March 2019 at 7:00pm.
Learn to use climbing skills to negotiate technical sections of coastline. The emphasis here is of climbing above the water and it's one of the activity highlights of Spring Camp. A short journey from the campsite takes us to nearby Anglesey where we can climb along the base of cliffs, at sea level, to create an adventurous journey. There are places where climbing is no longer possible and we'll set up our own rope bridges to get across the gaps. This is a high adrenaline activity and is essentially a dry activity, but you may get wet! The day is usually broken into two sessions so you'll have a chance to go back to the minibus (or a rucksack) to pick up food & drink.
What to bring
Helmets, harnesses and all technical equipment will be provided but you'll need to take a towel and a full change of clothes. You should wear a base layer and take a fleece if it's chilly. You'll also need a waterproof jacket. These should be made of man-made fibres such as nylon or polyester. Wear trainers or boots with good grip. Ensure you have any personal medical items with you and bring a packed lunch & drink and some money. A bin bag for your wet stuff can also be useful!
