BSC 2019: Coasteering Adventure Day (Saturday)
10 people attending
0 places left
This is one of the activity highlights of Spring Camp. A short journey from the campsite takes us to nearby Anglesey where we'll be climbing and scrambling across the sea cliffs at sea level, with plenty of time spent jumping in the water. This is a high adrenaline activity and you will get wet! The day is usually broken into two sessions so you'll have a chance to go back to the minibus (or a rucksack) to pick up food & drink.
What to bring
Helmets, buoyancy aids, wetsuits, cags and all technical equipment will be provided, but you'll need to take a towel and a full change of warm clothes. You should wear swimming trunks or shorts under the wetsuit and take a base layer and you must take a thermal top and fleece for added warmth. You'll also need a waterproof jacket. Wear an old pair of trainers you don't mind getting scuffed and taking in salt-water (they'll need to have good grip on them though). Ensure you have any personal medical items with you and bring a packed lunch & drink and some money. A bin bag for your wet stuff can also be useful!
