This event is part of the BIG Peaky Weekender 2023 event, and participation is intended for those attending the weekend event.
Join us for an hour of kayaking fun on Carsington Water. The event cost includes kayak hire with associated equipment, and an initial briefing for those who need it.
Take a look at the Stand-Up Paddleboarding event at Carsington Water on the same day. There will be time for lunch between the two events should you wish to take part in both paddle boarding and kayaking, and make a day of it. Even time for a quick parkrun before you set off for the day, should you be so inclined!
A note on timings: this is to meet at Thornbridge at 1230, to travel to the venue to arrive by 1310, and the activity to start at 1330.. If you have booked onto SUP in the moening, we'll know you are already on site. If you are not booked onto SUP but will make your own way to the venue please let us know.

IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.
What to bring
All specialist equipment will be provided. You will need to take swimwear and appropriate clothing, including a hat, and footwear which can be worn in the water. You may also wish to bring a dry bag for anything you take with you, as well as a towel, and snacks / lunch as well.
Food & drink
You may wish to bring a packed lunch, especially if you intend to participate in both morning and afternoon activities at Carsington Water.
