3 places left
This event is intended for those on the BIG North Christmas 2024 event.
This 12km walk is a great way to experience the beauty of the Lake District. The route is linear and direct, and it does not involve any technical climbing, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The total ascent is 874 m, so you will need to be prepared for some ascent, but the views are worth it. The route starts at Langdale YHA and ends at Stickle Barn, where we can grab a drink before we take the bus back up the valley.
Named tops we should summit along the way are: Castle Howe, Blea Rigg, Sergeant Man, Thunacar Knott, maybe Harrison Stickle, and Stickle Pike.
